This is and then piece of cake to make so delicious and flossy. My mom, a defended chocoholic, thought it was wonderful. I used mixed berries (no frozen strawberries left by the time I went shopping) and it was delicious, if seeds carp you try another fruit. Am going to endeavour with frozen peaches next time. If you lot don't have an ice foam maker and want to try home made ice cream, you accept to try this. Two thumbs ups!

Holy cow! Is this Practiced! I doubled it, knowing that other reviewers had said that it makes such a small corporeality. We Dear water ice cream in this house and this is improve than anything I've bought in the last ten years. Actually creamy and rich tasting. I've made strawberry this fourth dimension, but I plan on experimenting with fresh nectarines and peaches adjacent. EDITED 06/12/08: I've made this with mandarin oranges AND bananas. Non quite equally good as the strawberry. The mandarin oranges were tuckered actually well, but still fabricated this ice cream more "ice-crystal-ly." The banana was a more subtle flavour, and you really didn't need a whole lot of carbohydrate with the bananas. I think I might try fresh nectarines next, then move dorsum to berries. The whole family unit is however raving near the strawberry. EDITED 06/21/08: I fabricated a triple batch of this today with blackberry, huckleberry and strawberry. Succulent! EDITED Even so Over again: I have at present made this with FF half-n-half and one-half the amount of sweetener only using Splenda and nevertheless have it come out bully. Good dessert for someone who is either diabetic and has to watch their sugars OR someone who's trying to lose weight but still take something sweet every once and a while.

Pamela is a true GENIUS! This recipe is amazing then satisfying. I used unsweetened frozen mixed berries for that is what I had on hand (I had to suit the amount of saccharide because the other berries in the mix tend to be a fleck tart). I also added around 1/four tsp. of vanilla to give it that berries and foam taste ~ Heavenly. A definite keeper in my recipe box. Thank yous for sharing this with us :-D
06/02/2008
I USED VANILLA SOY MILK INSTEAD OF CREAM AND SPLENDA IN PLACE OF THE SUGAR Also Cut THE SPLENDA DOWN TO 1/4 Loving cup. THIS WAS VERY YUMMY!!! I THINK Adjacent Fourth dimension I WILL Cut THE SPLENDA Downward A Fleck MORE.WITH THE VANILLA SOY MILK WAS A Scrap SWEET STILL. I ALSO MADE MANGO AND STARBERRY FLAVOR'S.THE POSSIBLITY WITH FLAVOR'S IS Countless.THNX MUCH FOR A WEOBDERFUL RECIPE :)

Wow! I honey stawberry Ice Cream and this is wonderful!!! Sooo easy to make. Ane note...I reversed the gild of ingredients that you put in the blender..I put part of the heavy foam first which made it much easier to blend the frozen strawberries. This water ice cream is very tatsy and it'southward fabricated information technology into my family recipie book!

WOW!!! This is my new favorite recipe right now coming upon summer!! I don't own an ice cream maker and saw a question posted on the AR exchange for this recipe. It actually only takes 5 MINUTES to make this! I made two different flavors...strawberry and peach. I have a mini 3 cup kitchen help food processor and was concerned information technology might not work, but information technology did! I had recently froze large fresh picked strawberries in the last ii weeks. My machine did chop the fruit fairly well...and the taste was soooo goood! Some of my fruit was a chip icy. You may want to blend longer if you lot want a smoother fruit texture. It has a very cold, thick pudding-like consistency once blended.. After reading another reviewers suggestions, I as well froze for 30 minutes and even liked the texture of the ice cream more after first blended. Next time I will cut back on the sugar when I use really sugariness strawberries. My kids were fighting over the last bites!!
07/14/2005
This is heavenly. I used blueberries, but can't wait to endeavor peaches. Reminded me of old-fashioned ice cream shop creamy custard. Word of caution: Don't make this when y'all are the simply one abode. Thank you Pamela.
05/28/2008
Smashing recipe....who knew how like shooting fish in a barrel this would be and tasty. I used a bag of frozen mixed berries, cut the sugar in half and used fatty gratis half and half as suggested by Lorie. Results were perfect. My daughter actually enjoyed this quick dessert. I really enjoyed the fact that is was semi-salubrious unlike the real deal. Volition brand once more and try different fruits! Thanks!

It was amazing!! I had frozen bluberries on hand, and then I used those, and it turned out magnificiantly!!! Although I had to add an icecube to go far colder, everything else went exactly equally planned!!

I'm on a low fat, depression carb diet, then I had to change the ingedients. I idea this would be helpful to others. This recipe is then adaptable. I merely fabricated it in a Ninja with skim milk and Splenda. It'south OUTSTANDING! I used over a cup of whoe frozen strawberries, two/iii cup milk and 1/2 cup Splenda. It came out the consistency of soft serve ice foam, which is how I like it. (Because my Ninja has two levels of blades, I was able to put all the ingredients in at one fourth dimension and everyghing blended together quickly.)
06/19/2010
If I could give this recipe 10 stars I WOULD! So thankful I found this, I never knew ice cream could be so like shooting fish in a barrel. I have made this 3 times today, and 5 over the by week. Some flavors you should attempt: Mixed Fruit mint...pinapple, mango, strawberries peaches mix, and a handfullfresh mint with light cream and saccharide fantastic! Blueberry peach mint frozen yogurt... 1.5 cup vanilla low fatty yogurt and a frozen bag of each fruit, 1/8cup lite cream and 1/2cup sugar and so tasty Pear- 1 1lb jar of pears in light syrup tuckered and frozen, one/4cup sugar and light cream...and then refreshing! Thanks again!
05/25/2008
This was not what I was expecting at all. I idea I was making ice cream. Turns out we made a smoothie that was way mode to sweet and rich. My married man makes "smoothies" all of the fourth dimension. He uses a small-scale bag of frozen berries, 1 med to large frozen banana- 1% milk and splenda to gustatory modality. Alot less calories and alot better for you.
09/04/2010
This is a great recipe, just, I needed a less fattening version so this is what I did. I used 10 of frozen blueberries, ane/ii c. splenda and 2/three cup fatty free half and half. I put the fatty free one-half and half in the measuring cup in the freezer for about xx or 30 minutes until it starts to crystallize around the edges. Exercise this before you start the berries. This comes out to about 76 calories per serving.
07/31/2008
My hubby LOVES this ice foam, he closes his eyes and says mmmm....the whole fourth dimension eating it! I have become quite the 5 minute ice foam "skilful"! Caribbean fruits tin exist very sweet and then I cutting down the sugar a lot. I just add together to taste. I don't put the exact corporeality of cream, I may add more than or less, depends on the amount of fruit I am using. I add slowly until it turns into a brawl. Some fruits are more watery and so sometimes that doesn't work but after a while you get the hang of it and can just eyeball the amount of cream you will use. I used heavy foam the commencement few times just information technology tasted as well buttery so I switched to half and half as someone from the recipe exchange suggested. So far I have made mango, guava, papaya, cantaloupe and pina colada. I can't wait to effort other fruits! Endeavour information technology! *UPDATE* Fabricated it into a healthier version by omitting sugar and using KAL brand pulverisation stevia instead. Besides used half and half cream that had no hormones or antibiotics. It was equally delicious as before!
03/18/2010
This is 1 of my favorite recipes! Information technology reminds me of the scoop of bootleg ice cream I used to get from my favorite buffet back when I lived in Chicago. Ever since I found this recipe I've been trying unlike flavors. So far peach and apple are my favorites (if yous attempt apple you need to upwards the cream or it will be grainy). Some people mentioned that it doesn't freeze very well but I've also noticed that these are the same people that are substituting other dairy products for the cream. Don't! Cream freezes differently and anything other than foam will give you those ice crystals. If yous want it creamier merely add together more than cream. I usually add together 3/4 to 1 cup cream per 10 ounces frozen fruit. (you lot have to use frozen fruit for this to work!) Different fruits will requite different consistencies and so it's all nearly experimenting. Also, I can't encounter this working with a blender equally it would take also long to get everything to mix and ruin the texture. If you become a milkshake or smoothie consistency yous've washed something wrong. I always freeze this several hours before eating equally it is more than similar soft serve right out of the food processor.

Holy is this skillful! I didn't desire to throw away the heavy foam that was most to go bad in my fridge and at the aforementioned time, I was having a sweets set on. This was wonderful and amazingly easy. Probably not the almost healthy, but without an ice foam maker and the need for some sweets, this was perfect! Thanks!
08/xi/2008
I'd requite this a 10 if I could. My hubby didn't believe I made this. Information technology was soooo good! I simply used i/four c sugar with raspberries. It was delicious. He was still talking about it this morning!
05/21/2008
Oh Happy Solar day! This is wonderful! I placed information technology in the freezer and had a hard time waiting for it to firm upwardly, since I kept taking a taste here, a taste at that place. Gotta make sure it'south good earlier I offer it upwardly to guests, right?! I wanted to share that I used nonfat plain yogurt in identify of the heavy cream (and besides added a splash of vanilla)and saved a lot of calories equally a consequence. Think I'll reduce the amount of sugar next time to encounter how that comes out. Wonderful recipe; cheers then much for posting it!
08/17/2008
This was quick, easy, and information technology tasted great! My young man and I made a ton of this for his aunt's baby shower and it was loved. He now tries to get me to make it ALL the time (and then complains that I'm making him fat!). Nosotros tried it using the powder sugar that someone suggested and I found that it didn't taste as good. We also tried it with fresh strawberries and it froze a little funny and was very tart (even with the full amount of sugar - we added extra and it notwithstanding didn't gustatory modality right). I say stick with this recipe Equally IS!
06/23/2010
Loved it! I used a bag of mixed berries since that is what I had on manus. This is only the second time I have made ice cream and I will say that I much adopt this method. I borrowed my neighbors ice cream maker last week merely to see what it was like to make ice cream. I found the process very long and told the kids that we were Not ownership an ice cream maker. Later finding this recipe, I take no doubts that the determination was the correct one. I can't wait to try different flavors with this method.
06/23/2010
Loved it! I used a bag of mixed berries since that is what I had on manus. This is only the 2nd time I have made water ice cream and I will say that I much prefer this method. I borrowed my neighbors ice cream maker last week only to see what information technology was like to brand ice cream. I found the procedure very long and told the kids that we were Non ownership an ice foam maker. After finding this recipe, I have no doubts that the decision was the right one. I can't wait to try different flavors with this method.
08/19/2010
This was very good! I read a lot of the reviews. People were talking about the consistency being similar a smoothie which mine was too. I then had that important "A-Ha" moment...information technology is ice foam therefore it needs to freeze! Then, take your smoothie-like batter and put it in the freezer. Once it is frozen, you volition not be disappointed!
03/26/2011
I use 16 oz packages of strawberries and but 1/iv cup or less of sugar..Freeze and it's perfect for my morning time smoothies...I accept also mixed it with ane.v cups of Vanilla Yogurt in place of the heavy cream tastes the same to me :O) I have made 4 batches in 2 weeks.. Just perfect every time..Thanks
06/23/2011
This involved less attempt than making a smoothie and was fun to make. I used some frozen mango along with the strawberries and it was splendid. Didn't want a partial carton of foam leftover and then I used it all and adapted the fruit and sugar accordingly.
07/27/2010
I replaced half the foam with unsweetened greek yogurt. I as well cutting the sugar in half. This was a great recipe that has me thinking of freezing a different fruit every nighttime this calendar week!!!!
03/xiii/2010
I'thousand giving this recipe a five star, it worked but like it said information technology would. And you can interchange the frozen fruit for others. I used raspberries. And even though information technology was decent, it was rather tart. My mistake and not the recipe. I also did it with Splenda, and it didn't sweeten it the manner I thought, volition use sugar next time, only however it is an first-class recipe and I am working on other frozen fruits to use. I very much like this recipe.
09/xix/2002
Brilliant Idea! Very intense strawberry taste. Delicious.....
08/07/2005
This is the tastiest ice cream ever. Improve than whatever brand name. We used whole frozen strawberries because nosotros didn't have sliced ones. Nosotros didn't accept whatever heavy cream so used One-half and Half with a couple tablespoons of patently yogurt. Y roommate hates yogurt and still found it heavenly! Information technology was prepared, in bowls, and in the freezer in v minutes. The merely bad thing I tin say is that it only makes 2 pocket-size bowls. Y'all'll definitely want more than! Cheers for the recipe! I'll never take to buy the chemical-filled junk from the store once more.
08/25/2010
WOW...that's all I tin say. Works great with Splenda.
07/07/2011
I have a 2 yr old son who LOVES fruit I ever take several bags of frozen fruit on paw for snacks and various blistering recipes. I used the rest of my pocketbook of mixed berries ( alot of it was merely little cleaved pieces) it had strawberries, black berries, blue berries, and raspberries. I already had the whipping cream and sugar on mitt. I used my blender every bit I couldnt find the top to my food processor. I center balled the measurements as I didnt know how much fruit I had. My son looved it and married man did likewise I allow it freeze for a few hours, and we had information technology for dessert. I thought it tasted like 1 of those cartoon head shaped confined from the icecream man. Hubby says it tasted like sherbert I wasnt crazy virtually the seeds but husband and son didnt listen them. I cut up some canned peaches and froze them on a tray yesterday and then this morning I tried peach soo smooth and creamy in comparison to the berry one ( couldnt go the berries smoothen no thing how hard i tried!) my son has had 3 little one scoop bowls already! I snuck some raw babe spinach into the berry ane for an added vitamin boost and no one could tell !!! I will be using this for an icecream cake next i think. Make boxed cake ( any flavor) according to package, cool completely and so chill in the fridge overnight, ready ii batches of icecream and spread over cake in a pan then freeze top with coolwhip and cut fruit then freeze again untill just before serving...
05/thirty/2011
This was easy and tasted great. I used fatty costless one-half & half, merely to take near of the guilt out of eating it, and nobody noticed.
07/07/2010
Love, love, honey this! I made ii batches, one with strawberries, and one with mangoes. They were both deliciously flossy; I can't choose which 1 I liked better! Both frozen fruits came in a 12oz size so I just used information technology all. I also only added a slightly rounded 1/4 c sugar for each batch and felt they were both plenty sweet so I will continue to use the less carbohydrate amount. **UPDATE** I have made this many times at present, mostly with mangoes. I now utilise evidently nonfat yogurt, and only about 2 TBS of sugar. Even so very delicious. I use the cream version for a special treat! Also, I only make it in my food processor; there is NO Fashion my blender would be able to get it to the right consistency without it being to soft.
12/03/2010
Can't even tell you how many times I accept made this...quick, easy and very, very expert. Normally have the stuff on hand so it is a breeze to whip upwards. Kids Dear information technology!
06/05/2008
Such an innovative recipe. :) I froze two vanilla pudding cups (the single-serving 'Snack Pack' type) and used those instead of fruit to make vanilla ice cream...also I used 1/3 c. cream. Very simple. Thanks! :)
06/24/2008
Astonishing.... Then easy. And then expert - I can imagine so many variations. I foresee a summer of many experiments.
07/ten/2005
Incredibly tasty but a scrap grainy from the sugar. Might endeavor heating the carbohydrate in the cream to get it to deliquesce and so adding to the fruit and freezing. I know it'll change the proper name from 5 minute to 2 hour water ice foam merely the taste was neat so I'one thousand willing to give it a attempt. Thanks Pamela
12/07/2005
This stuff is fantastic!! I used vanilla low-fat yogurt and blueberries. I beloved it!! Cheers Pamela
02/17/2011
this deserve 5 star only for how simple it seems and how yummy it sounds. I haven't tried it but I'm definitely going to write it on my shopping listing. ***Update*** I've fabricated this ice cream and information technology'south official: I will never buy ice cream from the store ever once more. I fabricated this with frozen raspberries and I only have ane word say, WOW! I've besides made it with frozen peaches and kokosnoot milk and my husband said the same matter I said, never buy store bought water ice cream again, but make this.
10/05/2008
This was very good. I made information technology with fat gratuitous one-half'n half. I only used one/ii the sugar and it was sweet plenty. I used fresh picked ruby raspberries. I agree with the other reviewers who said it was more than like a sorbet than an ice foam. Still very proficient. I think I'll use more than one-half'northward half next time to make it more flossy. I volition definitely make this again and then I can endeavor other flavors. UPDATE: I made this again and used almost 1 cup of fat free one-half'n one-half. This made information technology a little creamier. I also used frozen canned peaches and i/2 the sugar. It was perfect, merely I nonetheless had to freeze it to go it to the consistency of ice cream. Now I give it 5 stars!
07/22/2012
This is a great recipe!!!!! Very easy to brand. After 5 hours of freezing it was the consistency of soft-serve, and nosotros liked it that mode.
12/17/2002
YUM! This was probably the best strawberry ice cream I take ever tasted! One give-and-take of caution - I used a blender to make this and information technology took forever to properly chop the strawberries. Maybe I just have a stinky blender, but I recollect a food processor is probably a lot easier to apply...just wish I had one!
05/29/2008
five stars for a SUPER Like shooting fish in a barrel recipe. However, based on flavour I would say a 4. Fabricated the recipe twice - first with the blender - second with the food processor. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND USING THE FOOD PROCESSOR. The strawberries get stuck in the blender - and y'all the results aren't as good as the nutrient processor (blender created a smoothie like consistency). If you want strawberry pieces in your ice cream just combine the carbohydrate and strawberries in the processor while it is off... start slowly pouring the cream - THEN plow on the processor. Otherwise the consistency volition exist very smooth. Made six servings instead of four - and so I used 1 pound whole frozen unsweetened strawberries that I roughly chopped (recipe called for sliced) - 1 generous cup cream and two/3 cup carbohydrate. It was very very sweet - adjacent time I will cut back the sugar a lilliputian. Otherwise, it was a not bad quick fix recipe my family enjoyed! **UPDATE 06/29** I've made this a couple times and everyone seems to love it! I use less sugar when making strawberry though. I tried this with fresh very ripe mangoes (cut upwardly and freeze before making). My hubby devoured information technology! So this recipe is very like shooting fish in a barrel to suit to other fruits, equally desired.
05/29/2007
This simple ice cream recipe was fabulous! I wanted to go rid of my e'er-growing collection of over-ripe bananas in my freezer, and this did well! I concluded upwards using two frozen bananas in place of the strawberries, just I recommend weighing out your advisable corporeality with a kitchen scale. The bananas don't need as much carbohydrate as the strawberries since they are a sweeter fruit. I cut the sugar in one-half only I could have done with less -- it was Very rich. Delicious recipe!
05/01/2011
I cutting the sugar down to less than 1/4 a cup considering I was using my ain frozen berries and I already knew they were quite sweet. I used amaretto flavored creamer as that was all I had on hand, and information technology turned out wonderful. The amaretto creamer really gave information technology a more complex season. Very like shooting fish in a barrel recipe - will definitely make this over again!
02/04/2011
Substituted cream with yogurt and sugar with sweetener. This is great to make in a pinch. And and then good for you likewise! Thanks for the recipe.
08/19/2010
Omg! This is the best strawberry ice cream I have ever had in my life! No high fructose corn syrup! How exercise I brand vanilla and chocolate?
03/fourteen/2011
Very Skilful. Next time I will merely use maybe 1/4C sugar or Stevia. It was also sugary, if you can believe information technology. :)
11/29/2010
Fabulous!
05/28/2009
In that location are very few OMG recipes, and this is one of them. I did this recipe three ways ane)with foam just as the recipe calls for, 2) with milk instead of cream, and 3) but with the berries partially melted. All three were fabled, and nosotros may take liked the one with only the berries and the one with milk the all-time. It actually tastes more like sorbet. I was as well surprised how well it scooped after being stored in the freezer. Thank you for the wonderful recipe.
eleven/04/2010
so piece of cake and good!! wish my ice foam maker wouldnt have broken so i could make more than! it broke my first nutrient processor, i had to get a new one~
08/31/2010
This was awesome!!!
08/05/2007
EXCELLENT! I think the problems people are having with this recipe relate to the amount of berries they are using. Use a sixteen oz bag of strawberries/berries. Also, it needs to be fabricated in a powerful nutrient processor - Non a blender. I got splendid results on the first try! I've even brought the ingredients and my food processor to a friends' dinner party to make it as dessert. Information technology's quick, easy, and SUPER tasty! FIVE STARS!
07/21/2004
This was so easy! I just have a small food processor but fabricated the full recipe. Enough for me and my hubby. Gustatory modality Great and I used the Splenda. Have given out the recipe to friends already and I merely fabricated it yesterday. Thank you for a quick, easy and delisious recipe. Can't wait to try frozen peaches.
07/01/2006
The taste is nice, but if you freeze the ice cream, the texture becomes rough considering of ice crystals.
09/03/2004
I though whole milk was foam, and forgot to freeze the strawberrys, so when I used it, the whole thing became a smoothie, so I froze information technology. It became a frozen strawberry ice block, but it was still delisious. I'one thousand going to endeavor again tomorrow with rasberrys!
06/06/2004
OH MY GOSH!!!! I made this for Memorial Twenty-four hour period; couldn't find whatever frozen strawberries at the shop and then I used frozen peaches. It tasted simply like a name-brand peach ice cream. It was awesome! I will definitely be making this over again. It was and then easy!!! I can't expect to endeavour other fruits in information technology and see how information technology turns out. This will get a new favorite at my business firm!
01/23/2006
We did not like this. It did non gustation like ice foam.
10/08/2005
Quick and easy - I made this along with a plain cheese block and it was wonderful. I added a little Amaretto liquor the second time around and it was wonderful. A quick and easy fashion to satisfy your sweetness tooth. Thumbs Upwards !
07/18/2010
This is a corking recipe, but I used my Vita Mix instead of a blender. Commonly when I brand a new recipe I make information technology exactly as is called for. Merely the 2d time I made it, I put the cream and sugar in starting time and blended it well before I added the frozen fruit. This made a huge difference, proving once again there is zippo meliorate than homemade water ice cream!
06/10/2012
This was a very practiced recipe. I liked it better right afterward information technology was made, just after freezing for later it was a little icy. Tasty, though. Edit - half-dozen/11/12 - I made this again yesterday to accompany a strawberry cake and it was just and then practiced. This is absolutely one of the quickest, simplest recipes you lot'll e'er come across. It'southward likewise a nifty way to use those garden berries. I tin't wait to make this again presently.
03/26/2011
used my own frozen strawberries rather than the packaged kind, and it turned out pretty well! use more strawberries (or less cream) adjacent fourth dimension. try raspberry!
04/07/2009
I thought this was Amazing & I'm non unremarkably a fan of strawberry ice cream. I had an actress lb of fresh strawberries so I sliced them, added 1/3 c. sugar & permit them juice for a while before I put them in the freezer overnight. It yet needed two tbsp of saccharide when I tasted it at soft serve consistency. (probably because of the fresh berries) If you stir it during freezing, about every 45 min or and then, information technology won't crystalize on you lot & I liked the flavor better when it was firmer. I'm trying frozen bananas & choc. chunks next time! Thanks for an amazing & quick dessert, much easier than my ice cream maker :o)
08/31/2010
Piece of cake Smeezy and wonderful. Made it correct before guests arrived and crumbled chocolate cookies and fresh strawberries over it. Fab!
07/09/2010
In taste I would probably give this a 5. Who doesn't like strawberries, sugar, and heavy foam? Merely, the texture was liquidy and more of a milkshake and non water ice-cream. It did to take the same amount of fourth dimension as making a smoothie, which is just expert simply a lot healthier. I did still, put it in the freezer and afterwards 24hrs information technology did freeze up. Afterwards freezing, it was similar an icy strawberry & cream ice cream.
01/eighteen/2011
I did not care for this recipe.
07/16/2008
Couldn't believe how well this worked and how fabulous it tasted! I used Splenda and it came out perfect. I made the strawberry and even my kids (who don't like strawberry ice foam) gobbled it upwardly.
07/29/2008
I hate to be one of those that rates recipes based on changes, as I did modify two/3 of the ingredients. I'thousand sure the original is crawly and do program to make it that way - but I recollect this deserves 5 stars for the brilliance and ease of the recipe. Never idea making water ice foam could be and then easy. I replaced the cream with vanilla yogurt and left out the sugar completely, equally I used sweetened sliced strawberries. So, thank you for the recipe thought! I doubled the recipe and used my blender. It was a little hard at first to get it to alloy, only I mushed the stuff around and it eventually caught on and blended nicely.
03/11/2009
I'm giving this a ii for now but considering I didn't employ strawberries I used blueberries. I'k giving this a 2 because it was WAY to sweet. I read many reviews and saw that alot of people were having issues with the gridyness from the carbohydrate so I disolved the sugar in the milk before adding together. I besides put a little blueberries and milk in the blender to aid it blend better. I came out dainty but liquidy and then I froze it for a few hours then it was fine. Not very griddy at all so non sure if putting the sugar in the milk first helped. My 4yr onetime LOVES blueberries and would only eat them if I permit her, she didn't want the ice cream said it was too sweet. I will attempt again though with strawberries next fourth dimension and melt the sugar again. I think maybe its only the type of fruit added that the sugar needs to be adjusted accordingly. Oh subsequently freezing over dark it notwithstanding wasn't stone difficult so thats overnice, I hate nothing more then rock hard ice cream. Thanks for sharing. :)
10/27/2008
Five minute amazing--my guests were and then-o-o impressed (and and then was I)!!!
07/02/2010
This is SO delicious and so piece of cake! And so far I take made peach, huckleberry, watermelon, and banana. Can't await to try more flavors! I've tried both the blender and food processor and DEFINITELY employ a food processor if you accept ane, it turns out a much better consistency.
06/15/2011
This is great. I'm allergic to gums in normal water ice cream. So now I can have ice cream once more. I also take a daughter with a milk allergy and used non-dairy creamer? made of nuts and it worked pretty well too. Thank you for this recipe soooo much!
03/04/2010
This is unbelievable! I am amazed that something then skilful can come up from these 3 ordinary ingredients and a food processor in 5 minutes... just it's true! We loved this. I didn't utilize all the sugar and used evaporated milk, just considering that is what I had on paw. I volition probably make this once more & again (& over again & over again...). Thanks for the recipe!
06/25/2008
Just made this recipe with red raspberries and information technology was delish! Next time will probably cutting back on the saccharide a bit. Ate some right out of the food processor and put the rest in the freezer. I'm hoping that, with a bit of fourth dimension in the freezer, some of the grittyness from the sugar volition disappear

OHHHH MYYYYY GOODNESS!! This is absolutely delicious! I used a 16 oz bag of frozen unsweetened peaches, subbed Splenda for the saccharide and fatty costless one-half & half for the cream! I froze it for ninety mins., I recall the one-half & half made information technology a little softer than the heavy foam would accept. These alterations make information technology a very low cal/fat recipe with wonderful rich results. My sons were amazed & asked me to make information technology again tomorrow. Thanks soooo much!!!

I exercise add a lot more than cream to make it more similar ice foam. I brand a lot at a time and keep it in the freezer.

Made this tonight with frozen banana'south, chocolate chips, and chopped walnuts and information technology tasted exactly like Ben and Jerry'south Mesomorphic Monkey!! Like other reviewers, I think 1/2 c. of sugar is as well much. I only used 1/3 c. and it was notwithstanding a bit too sweet. Maybe next time I'll only use 1/four c. Anyway, I volition definitely be making this over again!!

Information technology was so overnice to take an ice cream recipe that I could make without an ice cream maker. I too dear how versatile it is. I am in the process of trying this recipe over and once more with different fruits. So far I changed the recipe to use peaches, I subbed brown sugar instead of white sugar and afterward it was blended I spooned in chopped pecans. WONDERFUL! I normally don't like to rate recipes when I brand lots of edits but I am giving this recipe 5 stars considering not many recipes go me this excited to attempt it over and again for the variations.

Okay - I saw this on AR equally the recipe of the day today. I never knew I could make ice foam without an ice foam maker! This took nigh 5 minutes to make . . . and it is WONDERFUL. I used raspberries. Followed the directions to a "t", and it was like pure raspberry soft serve heaven. I had to stop myself from eating the whole batch. Popped the rest in the freezer for later on. Can't await to try this with other flavors. Thanks!

Wow! Thankfully I just happened to have some foam and a purse of former 'not too pretty' strawberries in the freezer. I used Splenda instead of sugar and information technology was still practiced! Looking forward to transforming those old bananas I have waiting in the freezer.

Amazing. From all the positive reviews I knew this would work, simply wow it'south got an astonishing creamy texture that's out of this earth. I subbed unsweetened frozen raspberries, delicious. I retrieve the listed proportions of ingredients are ideal, I added vanilla excerpt for preference just that'south really not needed. I retrieve there are closer to two, perhaps three servings. This seems similar an crawly recipe to make with kids. I will absolutely make this again, thanks so much for sharing!

And the best part is: nosotros utilize Splenda instead of saccharide and information technology's Keen!!!

This as written is very simple and easy to brand, simply it as well has a very uncomplicated taste. I does taste a lot like coolwhip, non icecream. Perhaps I should have used a amend vanilla. My son loves icecream, then he ate it. Just I and my hubby did non savor it. I may try to brand information technology again with the Ovaltine as mentioned by some other user.

And then easy to brand. Very succulent and tasty. A keeper. Melts fast though. More similar a sherbert.

I don't have an water ice-foam maker, so I never thought I could brand bootleg ice-foam. This was similar to a softserve. My married man who only likes chocolate water ice-cream even enjoyed this.

Groovy idea. I will have to mess with it a bit because mine didn't come out similar water ice cream, more like thick smoothie. I think I know where I went wrong but it was still hard.
